I used a plastic 2x6 to put on the ledge of the bathtub to sit on. It works great.

I'm 5'5" and daughter is 5'7" . . . she just needs to bend at the waist and kind of point her toe . . . it's not just an RV shower it's any stall shower. And yeah, I think pics would be not a good idea!

I suppose no one is advocating going "au naturelle"? As a Scandinavian I just had to throw that out there. When I feel the need to shave I actually prefer the outdoors. A bucket, razor and cream and you're all good to go. Much more comfortable than the shower in my opinion and the hair ends up outdoors rather than making trouble in your RV pipes tanks.

Somewhere recently I saw an extension handle that your (her) razor will attach to. Never used one myself but it looked like a good idea. Might have been Bed, Bath & Beyond or similar

Well the gentleman doesn't realize how hard it is to bend at the waist once you're over a certain age & as for the downward stroke directions, well, with ladies, it's upward with the razor. Don't you watch the Venus razor commercials?

A good idea, in theory. In reality = nick city. Have a man try to shave his face with a 19" extension handle & report back on how well it works.

I concur, although I have yet to use my RV, we just bought it and are taking a trip to Alaska in about 2 months. Great Advice WheelingIt!

I love this thread-

Much more interesting than failed engines, brakes, refrigerators or the likes- .

Sit back, eat popcorn, have a "toddy" and enjoy-.

Ah we have a situation here that surely needs addressing.
  • Shower too short and legs too long..hhmmm
  • Wax on wax off that gots to hurt..
  • You can shave them for her, but one little slip and "smack right in the ear hole"
  • She could go "au naturelle" and go out side... but then the couple walking the dog..well the guy would have to take a glance and "smack right in the ear hole"
Yes be very careful and good luck..and hope you get a leg up on this one..
