Not much better. I then bought Koni FSD shocks and had them put on $800. Nicer ride but still wandering all over. I then took it to a truck center and asked them to check out the front end. Bad Bell crank, upper and lower bushings, worn ball joints, out of alignment and bushings shot all over. got it all fixed $1484,00. Driving home it felt good until a truck passed and I was almost in the next lane... Back to the truck center to find out my rear stabilizer bar bushings were shot. Fixed that $135.00.... So to make a long story short, fix what's broke first.....
Yep! Great advice. My shocks are definitely shot. The steering stabilizer is more of a safety add on. Plus the stabilizer has the advantage of side wind re-centering upgrade AND some minor tracking improvements on bumpy roads. When I am under the chassis I will give all my bushings, joints and (now that you mention it) the bell crank a thorough inspection.

It is all here, shocks stabilizer, and excitement. The Blue Ox is quite a beefy unit. I was a little disappointed int the Koni craftsmanship, but I didn't get them for looks, i will hit some of the missed paint rubs with a basic sealer to ensure a rust free existence. I wish I could get it all in this week, but don't think my schedule will allow, might have to wait till next weekend.

Purely as an update. I finally got it all installed. Put on the shocks and test drove. Koni FSD install was easy and ride quality is good. Checked alignment, tie rod ends, steering linkage, etc all seems good. Installed the TruCenter. First impression is that it does as it advertises and I am glad I have the recenter solenoid for cross wind. The stiffness it adds to steering corners and such will take some getting used to.

I wrote a couple notes on the blog section regarding my installs.
