ShockWarehouse.com - two thumbs down

Has anyone else ordered through these guys? They never answer the phone, respond to email and the live chat is useless.

I ordered a pair of shocks after being told they would arrive before my trip. Now told they won’t come in for another week. I tried to follow up today and it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone.

Extremely frustrating. Wondering if they are a legit company at this point.

I've bought MH shocks from them 2X, front then rear; both contacts were very courteous and helpful. The first time, I was having difficulty ordering from their website,(military discount) phoned them, the man walked me through the procedure, then proceeded to take my order over the phone. Received the shocks in 5 days.
I do realize predictions do not always come true though.

problem is that they dont stock most shocks. they order them from a supplier and then ship them to you. i ordered both front and rear shocks for my freightliner chassis from this company.

the front arrived in four days, the rears were not in stock, so it took eight days to get those. very good price, and good service. i was told in advance the rears would take longer.
i cant complain. i see others that have had different experiences, but i asked about delays, and got a reasonable answer.

Ordered a front and rear set from them. Twice I was messaged they were shipped only to find out over two weeks they were "back ordered". Cancelled order and had them within 5 days from RockAuto. I was just ordering Monroe's....nothing that required additional processing or shipping time.
On a positive note....they are one of the few I've found who were cheaper than RockAuto....about four dollars cheaper per shock.

After reading reviews about them, I bought Koni shocks from Ultra RV Products instead.

These guys are a drop shipper. The reviews show most problems are from wrong parts shipped and return screwups.

This is where i ordered last time but they weren’t getting any in until
January. Now it will most likely be January until i get them regardless. Oh well. If this is the worst of my problems i guess I’m doing alright. Lesson learned.

I used Shock Warehouse a couple of months ago for 4 Konis. Quick delivery and no issues. I'd use them again.

BUYER BEWARE ! !
Mendacious business practice is my experience with Shock Outhouse.

Ultra RV performance.com is highly recommended,, no affiliation.

I used Shock Warehouse to get my Koni KYB's 2 years ago. No issues. good price.

I would use them again. No particular allegiance or preference. They had the best price, were recommended by others, and did not disappoint.
