Hi all hope some of you can help me out my wife and I are in the plaining stage of getting are new and last motorhome. we have a winnebago Adventurer 35U and its a 2000.

Today my wife and I looked at Tiffin the Bus and the Pheaton.

my short list had a total of four units on it they were the Winne tour and Vectra and the Tiffin Pheaton not the Bus.

When we went looking today the bus just kind of jumped onto the list and I think by the look in DW's eyes the Pheaton was droped.

I would think that she may have also removed the Tour as well as I think the Pheaton and tour are in the same class.

So here is the question of the remaining two what would you do and why we have a 3 year window to make this purchase but as you all know 3 years is not a long time in RV years.

the bus that we looked at today was an 07 and was the QSP I think it had no carpet in the living area at all just under the two couches the rest was tile.

Have not been able to see an 07 vectra yet none on dealers lot in NH the tiffen was on dealers lot in MA.

thanks
Mark

You really will like the Vectra or look at the Itasca coaches. You can get some idea of them on the Winnebago web site and even get the specifications. They will even let you print out a brouchure.

Your short list is identical to what my short list was earlier this year (Tiffin Bus and Phaeton, Winnies Vectra and Tour). We ended up with a Tiffin Allegro Bus 40' QSP. To be fair, both of the Winnies are good coaches and have some nice features that I like (EMS system being the biggie that Tiffin did not have). The Tiffins (specially the Bus) drive like a dream, much better than the Winnies and the reputation Tiffin has in after the sale support and service steered the boat their way and we are very pleased with the coach and the service so far. The Phaeton is a great value, however we picked the Bus because we wanted a HydroHot heating system and that is not available in the Phaeton. Now, the Bus also comes in a Spartan chassis which makes it even more attractive to most people and you can get it with IFS (get it if you can) in both Spartan and Freightliner.

Whatever you end up doing, enjoy!

Rick
