Should 2008 Itasca Sunrise 32H be our first rolling home?

We are on our way in a couple of days to purchase a 2008 Itasca Sunrise 32h from a private party. If we decide to buy, what is the next step? Do we use a title company, go to the DMV, bring a cashiers check? Does anyone have a huge skull and crossbones for this year and model? It does have a year left on purchased warranty, 35,000 miles. So many questions!!!! So little knowledge!!!! We will go fulltime in a few months....just a couple of oldsters and a lab named Sundance.....all the road runnin'

I can't help you on the exact model you're looking at, but Itasca (Winnebago) is a very good brand. Personally, I think 32 is a little small for full timing. You may need a little more room for things like, a washer/dryer, more closet space..etc.
Now, as for the purchase.. I'm what you'd call.. an 'expert' (my wife calls it neurotic). The location of the inspection is up to you however, if you decide to buy it.. the safest thing for you AND the seller is to both go to your bank near him. You withdraw the money from your account and hand it to him in the bank. Then he signs the pink and hands it to you. (your safety). Then the seller can walk over and get a bank check he knows is not a forgery, or deposit it if it happens to be his bank too.(his safety). Everyone is happy and secure. There is a world of fake bank checks/loan checks out there. I would not take a 'check' of any kind if I were the seller, nor would I feel safe about walking around with cash.. as the buyer or the seller.
Banks will let you use any unused desk or table for the transaction.

Thank you for your excellent information. We agree with you and are looking for something bigger as the owners changed the terms as we were heading out! :( But it all happens for a reason and the right one will come our way...
