Should I buy this 1999 bounder?
I found a 1999 bounder 32' no slides 35k miles for $15,000.This is our first motorhome we use to have a toy hauler so we are excited about the upgrade.Im curious to learn anything I can about the rv including common problems etc.I originally wanted a 30' but couldn't find one we liked.Will I have a problem in Southern California with being turned away at campgrounds for being too long?Thanks in advance.

The search feature here will find multiple threads about coach size and campgrounds. I think you will find that 30 vs. 32 makes little real difference.
Bounders are popular coaches. Fleetwood is a good brand, with typically good parts availability. Buying any coach comes down to the care it has had and condition.

What you will often find is that after 32 feet, you begin to notice a drop off in campsites that can accommodate you (especially State and Provincial Parks). 32' is not too bad at all. As the owner of a 37, I can attest to how much the number of usable sites diminishes at even my modest length.

Buy it! Have fun you'll not have any problems finding campgrounds at that length.

Similar to your 1999 was our 1995 Bounder 34J (no slides) which we had for about 12 years. Great motorhome.
Make sure you check the manufactured date of the tires and closely inspect the rubber roof including side seams. Has the roof been coated yet?

Way to expensive. I sold my '99 39' Winnebago for $10K several years ago.

Yes,the roof was redone about a year ago and the tires are 6 mints old according to receipts.

I was going to mention, have the rubber roof and the side walls checked by someone that knows about earlier Fleetwood products. seems a little pricy for a 99 bounder. unless its mint pristeen

A little expensive, but a great coach to start with. Bounders are good, solid, sort of no frills motorhomes. Less stuff to break = less cost and hassle.
