Question shower door issue????

Has anyone ever had any problems with a "sticky" shower door? Our 2003 Providence has the nicest shower.....but the door is slightly "askew" and sticks on the bottom corner when trying to open. When stepping IN to the shower, you can lift the towel bar handle and open it....but there isn't a handle on the inside, so it's hard to get OUT. How can we fix it? Any ideas?

I have a different problem but noticed the alignment screws on the top brackets that let one change the door height and angle over a limited range. You might try that.

At the bottom hinge point you can add a plastic washer to lift the door. With the door open it should lift out of the bottom hole, it will probably take an extra set of hands to get it back together. Local hardware store should carry an assortment of plastic washers.

If your coach does it just some of the time, then it might be a leveling problem (body flex)

In case you aren't comfortable trying to adjust the door, try this> When inside the shower with door closed, push against the shower wall (or top frame) on the hinge side. That should move the enclosure enough to allow the door to open.

No, it happens all of the time....and has since we purchased it used five years ago. Just annoying!!!

Thank you for the suggestions. I think the hubby has tried the adjusting screws already.....so we may do a bit of filing as well as try the plastic washer.

Thanks again!
