Shrink wrap for winter

People shrink wrap boats for winter and I saw a few shrink wrapped RVs in Idaho. Has anyone done this for winter storage? I might need to store my RV somewhere near New York City for a winter.

I guess the downsides is no entry until spring and then a lot of garbage deal with?

FWIW. An old airplane mechanic told me one time that if you want to store an engine use canvas, not plastic. Canvas breathes and plastic does not. I know they put louvers in the shrinkwrap, but the whole canvas breathes not just a couple of holes. I know what I'd use. Your rig, your call.

Excellent consideration. I'm guessing the air is pretty dry back east in winter though? I grew up in California, I don't really understand weather [emoji3]

If mildew and damp is a concern though I'll just stick with my cover. I just thought shrink wrap would be good for water/snow protection.

Maybe they can only do the top?
