I am a bit of a newb with regards to the diesel pushers just acquiring one in July. When searching I had decided that rear vs side was not going to be a deal breaker for me. I also am a tinkerer and like to do some work myself. I was very close to purchasing a rear radiator unit but changed my mind not from the radiator but the particular coach. We finally ended up with a coach that fit our needs and budget. It just happened to be a side radiator.
Now after having the coach for a few months and spending time getting familiar with the coach and fixing many small items as it was a 12 year old coach. I am so glad to have the side radiator it is so much easier to just pop the hood look around inside and have full access.
Any future purchases on my end would now require a side radiator.
