You could also try RVCAMS.com. And no, I am not related with them, just a happy customer...

I just might hijack this topic...forgive me.

Has anyone ever added a side camera? I'm looking at upgrading my*dash radio to one that can display a camera. I'm thinking...HMMMM...what might I do with that?

I had an open port on my monitor so I added a right side camera (in addition to the two on the back). I find that I rarely use it.

Now if it was on it's own dedicated screen, it might be more helpful. Takes too much time to switch the monitor in my case.

I do use it sometimes for an alternate view when backing into a campsite.

One my reasons for installing is that in extremely heavy rain, my right side mirrors are hard to see. My hope was that the camera might be better in the heavy rain. I have not had a chance to check that theory.

I have replaced my defective Pioneer in-dash radio with an Alpine (screen slides out) and it supports a Nav system as well as a camera input. I only hooked up the back camera but you can get a 3 input / 1 output camera controller box with 2 side cams. The controller hooks up to the turn signals and switches the inputs automatically. I did install one on previous motorhome and found that I had to signal the lane change in order to see from the cam whereas I always preferred to look before signalling and changing... I find the mirrors on my current motorhome are good enough but who knows I might just do it again. RVcam.com sells everything you would need.

My thought is to add a camera on the right side to cover the blind spot there. If I plugged into a new radio with camera input I could avoid need to switch my current backup camera view.
