silly little question

I have a new Class A Fleetwood Terra 34 b Motor home with a Cummins/Onan 5500 watt generator. I changed the oil for the first time and had a very difficult time removing the oil filter. Finally resorted to the old screw driver poked through the sides to get it out. The filter is a onan 122-0836 there is about an inch or so that sticks through the bottom to grab but very little clearance to get to it. My question has anyone found an oil filter wrench that will work. thanks in advance for any input.

Tomv, They make one that fits on a 3/8 ratchet like a socket.. Take your old filter or a new one would be cleaner to any auto parts store and they will sell ya one..around 3/4 bucks!

The Onan wrench works best. It is thinner than most other wrenches. The P/N is 420-0559
