Silly question-Thermometer Placement
One of the most common questions asked in the rig, on any Road trip is: What's the temperature?
The built in dash thermometer in our Thor Ace is always wrong. It runs about 8 degrees hot, and it's not really available when we aren't driving anyway. So I bout a cheap digital thermometer, with a wireless remote sensor so we can get inside and outside temperatures.
So here's the dumb little problem: I can't find a good spot for the outside sensor.
It can't go outside the shell of the RV because it would get hit by direct sun. I tried attaching it underneath the tow bar frame, but I have found that even though it is accurate in camp, it's always 10 or 12 degrees hot while driving, because of engine heat draft flowing below the rig.
Whatever shall I do? ☺️
