Hello Dave,

The new Version 4 software (v4.0.3) has a new compliment of gauge color theme options--to include a Day-Night switch and fully adjustable, His and Her gauge sets. It works well with all JIB types: Serial, USB and WiFi.

Find it here on our VMSpc Downloads page. Many new features as well--to include a full-time Diagnostics gauge. As a green bar reading "No Errors Reported" that changes to Red and will automatically display the Error. IE Engine Temp High, Turbo sensor erratic...ABS, axle 2, etc

cheers

Hello Don,

As more of our favorite coach builders were boosted their volumes for the Glass Dash (VMS-645 and 647) we were able to half the price the dash unit--to $4995. This includes the air-tank sensors and video switching for side cameras.

It was our Service Director, Dale, who sorted out the scheme to replace the dying Aladdins with state of the art Silverleaf tools. The key is reusing the existing 'down-frame' wiring and network, updating it with standard "RV-C" enabled devices. The latter is the defacto standard in high line RVs, getting away from the walled-garden that hobbled the Aladdin.

Give us a call for more info and request an estimate tailored to your coach and needs.

cheers

YES!...I wouldn't leave home without it!

Over time on many trips with my VMSpc I was able to see my voltage was slowly dropping from about 14.2 Volts to 12.6 Volts. The idiot gauge on the dash showed voltage within "NORMAL" range with lots more room on the gauge. But, I knew it was time to change the alternator!

I have an older rig, so temps are important to me and aging hoses!

Mel as someone who is much more accustomed to navigating 1040's and 1120's, the idea of having engine information that may be helpful and may avoid a serious problem starts to move the Silver Leaf more toward the "must have" from the "wouldn't it be nice to" have category. I can foresee the Silver Leaf being something that I would need to play with for a while to see what I need versus what I want, but it does look like it's worth the money.

One question I would have is that if I bought the system for my Berkshire and then we traded this fall for a newer rig, would I have a doubling up of costs? Also, is the glass dash available for most rigs?

" wnytaxman".....Obviously, the glass dash wouldn't be interchangeable with other coaches, but the system I run is. If you use a stand alone Notebook or Tablet, you can move that to the new coach. There are two styles of cables to connect your computer to the coaches diagnostic port. On older coaches it was a 6 pin plug, newer coaches use a 9 pin plug. The cable from SilverLeaf and small box comes in two pieces and you can order the correct plug end if you change coaches at a reduced price. When I moved mine form my 05 Diplomat to my 2014 Dutch Star, I had to buy the 9 pin plug.
