Can you make some gauges large and others small, and arrange them in an endless variety of ways as you can on the PC? If so, that's where I'll be headed. I already own two iPads, but still I'd buy an Android tablet if that did a better job with VMS.
Marc, sorry I missed this earlier.

I can re-size, change the color have it show max value, warning lamp and delete displays.

You can only move them up or down the list.

Hello All,

I am looking at possibly purchasing the VMSpc and specifically the Wifi version. Has anyone utilized the newer version (TM550)? Has the new version of the software added anything noteworthy? Have they performed well?

Any new hardware platforms that work well?

Thanks for any updates.

I'd avoid the wifi version. I had it initially, and worked okay till Windows 10 hit, then the shtf. Worked for hours w/their support person, and I've got an IT background so we were deep into the operating system trying to get it working. It would hang, and the only thing that eventually would get it working again is to reach under the dash and unplug/replug the jib cable. Restarting their application, or rebooting Windows would not necessarily get it working again. So driving down the interstate and trying to reach under the dash to replug is not practical. Tried a couple different versions of the wifi (both hardware jib and software), but ultimately they eventually just replaced it with a USB version, which works flawlessly. Wasted way too much personal time on it.

I had thought that I'd want the wifi version so that I could monitor the engine performance while wife was driving. I also thought that the wifi version would be better long term as I wouldn't need to worry about USB drivers w/different operating system releases. But she uses it as well (prefers it to the Freightliner dash guages), and I can also see the screen from passenger seat. In addition to the detail gauges, I also have red/yellow/green radio buttons set up so I can easily see from across the coach that everything is fine with just a glance.
