Simple 15 min mod for everybody

I have never liked the fact that my overhead cabinet doors would only open so far. Especially the ones above the dash. Finally I found a simple way to keep them open the whole way. I bought a set of "Baggage door catches" and screwed them to the ceiling. PERFECT . Took all of 15 minutes.

Thanks! ... good idea. Most of mine have mini-struts but a few do not.

Mine had the mini struts also and that is what kept them from opening the whole way. I removed them. Don't know why I didn't think of this before.

I've probably relocated half of my mini-struts to allow full access. In most cases that was to allow inserting a plastic storage container without holding the door up with my hand.
