Sirius XM radio

I just purchased a 2015 Itasca SunCruiser 35P. It has a info center up front with GPS, Bluetooth, Radio and camera. It says its Sirius XM ready. The manual shows a kit that needs to be purchased. Does anyone know the procedure for activating. I had an external tuner that plugged into my radio deck on the prior MH. Antenna on the roof and power plugged into the tuner that inputs to the AUX. Do I need to purchase a new tuner (hoping I can input into existing radio deck.

I got the kit from sirius but then found it cheaper on Amazon - you have to mount an antenna then either wire to radio or us FM tuner - after hooked call sirius and activate

Sirius radio

Our 2014 Dutchstar has clarion radio setup with GPS etc. Radio was "sirus" ready which meant we had antenna on roof and only had to contact them to buy service and we were ready to go However we found that the manufacture had not installed the adapter that connected antenna to back of radio. Got that from Newmar and connected the two plugs, called sirus and radio works fine. People on this site were responsible for showing me how to take radio front off and looking for the adapter.

saving sirius money

I have sirius xm 3 yrs now. 2 days prior to the renewal date of the service I call the 800 # and tell them I wish to cancel. They ask why & I say "price". They then offer me a price substantially less than the renewal rate. I say you are tempting me but not quite enuf to renew. I then tell them the super-low rate they gave me 3 yrs ago is what will keep me a customer. They say ok we can do that. I've been doing this every 6 months for 3 years now. So you can goout for an extra dinner every 6 months. Ron

I have 2015 Vista and mine worked on the preview station from day one. Try that station and you should get it if everything is hooked up.
