Site for reviews of service centers
I know there is a site that compiles reviews of places to get the motor home worked on, similar to RVParkReviews, but can't remember the name or URL. Anyone have it? Thanks.

The problem with that site is that the number of reviews is rather limited and many of them are very old. But, it's a chicken and egg situation--unless people use it and post reviews it can't improve.

Agree with Joel. I have used it especially when we might need service while traveling but it would be great if folks were more diligent in posting current reviews. I post a review whenever I have any service done.

It's no RVPR's, but it's a start.

The problem is, with today’s litigious society, if you post a negative review you open yourself up to a lawsuit.
Even if the review is totally justified, can be backed up with facts, evidence, and witnesses, you still have to hire counsel to defend yourself from the lawsuit. It could be quite expensive even if you win.
Unfortunately the truth can make you a victim.

With all due respect, I'm not sure on what legal basis you make this assertion, but my understanding of the established legal precedent is that websites that post opinions and reviews without editing them cannot be sued for statements contained within such posts. I am an administrator for campgroundreviews.com and this is the principle under which we operate. If we feel that a review needs to be edited before being posted we return it to the reviewer with some general guidance. Whatever changes are made are made by the originator of the review. We have plenty of negative reviews, as do most review sites, and fear of legal action is not one of our concerns.
As for the idea that legal action might be taken against anonymous individuals posting reviews or opinions on the internet, I find that rather hard to believe since most people post under user names that have little to do with their own name or location and simply tracking down posters is pretty difficult. Furthermore, even if such action was undertaken, libel laws pretty much require that someone knowingly posts false and harmful information before legal action has any chance of success; that's a high hurdle to clear and prevents most frivolous libel suits.
One of the key principles on which our country is based is our freedom to express our opinions regardless of their content. The courts do not take kindly to frivolous lawsuits brought to suppress free speech which is why most libel suits are never filed even when prominent people make public threats that such action will be taken.

No legal basis whatsoever, just urban myth.
I have heard of it happening.
Carry on as you see fit.

I have seen the legal citations with respect to posting of reviews by websites. I'm not going engage in a debate relative to something I know as fact. In the words of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, everyone is entitled to his own opinions, but not his own facts.
