Sleep Number Bed

My sleep number bed has fully deflated both sides after being parked for 6 weeks. Has anyone had this problem or know what to look for. It had a new pump and wireless remotes put in by Lazydays when we bought it 10 mths ago. I disconnect the house batteries while parked, as they would run down in a few days. It is a 2008 Discovery 40X

I am not sure if they deflate all the way, but our Sleep Number bed typically requires air to be added to the mattress after storage. If the deflation is quicker than what you think should happen with normal air loss, it is easy to check the fittings for leakage. We had one fitting that came partially loose and would deflate the bed when power was off.

We sleep on ours every night and every couple of weeks I may add a pound or so of air.

Not unusual for this to happen. As previously stated, check the fittings but I believe it is normal. Ours requires air after a week or two. Also consider the temperature change from the last time you used it.

Had the same thing happen to ours not long after purchase 4 years ago. I called the mfg and asked for their support folks.

They were very helpful helping to diagnose the issue (leaky fittings) and even sent replacement fittings free of charge.

Worth a quick call.

We have a 2008 Discovery 40X also and it stays plugged in all the time. The sleep number bed has never deflated all the way but we added a 2 inch memory foam to it and it sleeps a lot better. I did have other problems with my 40X.

We loose no air over a month time. It is the one bright spot on our Phaeton!

Thanks to all, I will watch it for awhile, but we will be full timing for awhile so it won't be sitting, so should not deflated but I will see how often I have to pump it up to our settings.

Just a quick though...if you full timing travels include high elevations, dont forget to deflate the mattress some. Ive had my sleep number for about 9 years in the MH and just now had to replace one chamber. Oh, we also added a Pillow top pad and enjoy it even more now.

My Sleep Number bed started doing this on only one side at first. It was so fast it would deflate overnight. Then one trip the other side started.

I lubed the quick connect fittings with silicone lube spray and it fixed the leak.
