Slendide 2000S Dryer won't start

I have a 2003 Pace Arrow with a Splendide 2000S combo washer and dryer.

The previous owner had never used it, nor had we until last week when my girlfriend spilled on her white pants.

We have the manual and followed the instructions. The washer worked fine, but it never went into the dry cycle. I then set it to just dry and it would not start the dryer.

When we got back, I asked my dealer to try it and he had the same result. He suggested I call a Splendide washer dryer repairman to come fix it.

Has anyone had this problem and solved it? As I will not likely use this more than once or twice a year, I really can't justify spending much money in a service call, when a clothes line would be another option.

Thanks,

Craig

Prior to power, try setting the Dryer Timer to a time setting. Then set main setting to the twelve
o'clock wash cycle. Then push power button. Should go through wash then dry cycle automatically. If it doesn't, it probably needs repair. We had a problem at first also, but it works fine now.
