Slide Cover Repair

Need a little help. Can anyone tell me how to go about fixing my slide cover. I have a 2008 38ft Monaco Knight that the slide cover has pulled out of the track on the roof side of the big slide of the front room. The cover was full of water from a big rain storm that we got. I went up on top of the MH to remove the rain water but I was to late the weight of the water pulled the cover out of the track. The only part of the cover that is still in the track is on each end of cover. I know you should put a ball or something under the cover on top of the slide so the water will run off. I will do that when I get the cover reinstalled in the track.
Thanks for the help.

I think you are going to have to remove it and then reinstall it like you would a new awning. Here are some instructions It's Easy to Replace Your Own Slide Topper Awning Fabric

It is not hard but will take at least 2 people. And be careful to not let the spring unwind
