Slide extends by itself

I have a 2006 Beaver Monterey. One of the rear slides extends 6-8 inches by itself when parked for a few days. I have tried disconnecting the batteries but, it still extends by itself so, I guess it is not an electrical problem. So far it hasn't happened while I am moving.
Any input would be appreciated.

Need a little more info. What brand are they and electric/hydraulic? Welcome to irv2. You'll get a lot of info here.
If it's HWH, it's probably a leaky manifold valve or hydraulic cylinder. I have a third slide that creeps in. Taking it to Moscow IA factory for repair.

I looked closer and it is hydraulic. Equipment list says it has a HWH pump. I don't see any leaks. Are there any check valves?

You may be low on hydraulic fluid which is simple fix. You'll need to locate the pump and tank. Just follow the sound. There is a breather valve with a dipstick attached. Check level with slides in and jacks up. If needed, add Dexron III to full mark. If ok, you probably have a faulty valve on the manifold that's attached to the pump. Good luck

I had a check valve go bad. I'd put the slide out and it would close very slowly about 6" then stop.

I'm having the same problem with my curbside slide. Only and inch a week but annoying. Will stop at factory next year and have it fixed along with some other things. Updated springs, slide bushings and a wellness check

Mine was the road side. Come to find out I was not holding the retract button long enough to engage the locks. I followed the instructions in the owners manual and the problem went away.

Retract is ok, it's after I extend it that it creeps in. Maybe I'll try holding the "out" button a little longer.
Thanks
Rich

if yours is like what i have HWH over H you need a new valve you need to find out what type of slide you have the A type or B type and can be fixed by hand with no tools

Thumbs up

No creeping for five days now so, maybe I wasn't holding the retract button long enough for the lock to engage. Thank you for all the help.
