Our bedroom closet slide doesn't want to go in and out with out help. It seems to slip or jump gears in the motor mechenism. The part # on the motor is 24806 but not having any luck finding anything, if I don't find out anything here I guess I'll just call Newmar.

A close friend had this happen to his 5th wheel. It was covered under warranty so he took it to Giant RV and they replaced the drive mechanism. I think it cost about 1K. Very labor intensive. I don't know the underlying cause and they are unavailable right know. Local RV service repairmen wouldn't touch it.

A common problem with some Carriage Cameos. The cure is to pull the motor and slot the mounting holes for abetter gear mesh, then Loctite the mounting bolts.
