I have a 2006 itasca suncruiser with 3 slide outs. The kitchen slide (hydraulic) creeps out after being retracted. Any ideas or advise?

A friend of mine uses a 2X4 on either side of his slide to keep from creeping out and has to remind himself to remove them b/4 hitting the slide out buton.

Make certain the valves on the hydraulic manifold of the pump are manually, fully closed. If you still have leak-by, then you have a bad valve or bad piston. Most of the time the valve is the culprit.

Hi Martin I had the same thing happen to mine and I put in some sea foam trans-tune in the system and It has worked fine.no more slide problems. On mine I think a valve was stuck or had a pice of #^* in the system.Sea foam is made for hydraulic systems. The man that had our coach before us sold it because the slides could creep out and he said he put over 5k in the slides,new rams,motor,he said he replaced every thing but the valve body. When I picked it up from the dealer that I bought from the slides did not work could not get them in got home and when lowering the jacks the rear slide came out, that told me that it had a pice of crud in the valve. So I tried Sea Foam It worked have had the slides in and out at least 50 times no problem

Couldn't get to the link Sarah posted so this may have been covered. Make sure you get the right product, Sea Foam also makes a gas additive that is great on cleaning up fuel systems that are gunked up from old gas.

This sounds pretty good. Which product is used for hydrolic levelers, the TransTune? If this stuff works just half as well as described, that would be good. I think I will try it but just want to make sure I get the right stuff for the levelrs.

It is Trans Tune you can get it from most parts stores about $8 to $10 a can.

I have not yet added this the hydralics of MH so cant say how it works with that. I did add some to the transmission of my Jeep Wrangler. The transmission had been shifting somewhat sluggishly for a while. I had flushed it and put in fresh fluid but that had not helped much if any. I added the Sea Foam and then I drove the Jeep on a trip of about 100 miles. I began to notice a difference after the first 50 miles or so. As of now it shifts like it did new and I am happy with the results of the Sea Foam. I will now try it on the MH and see if there is improvement there as well.

Hmmmm, works in jeeps to? Mine has morning sickness. Seafoam good stuff will try some in the trans.

I own a auto repair shop and we use Sea Foam in all transmission services I am a firm bleaver in Sea Foam have put in thousands of transmissions.

@JimM68, I had never heard of it until I read about it on this board. I checked their web site and they have good info on their products and where you can get them. I think I gave about $10 for a pint container, I got two. It says it will clean the gunk from the valves etc and apparently it did because my Wrangler now is shifting like it did new. I am a customer of Sea Foam from now on. They also make a product to help clean the gunk from engines. Im going to use the other can of Sea Foam Trans Tune in my MH hydralics. Im not having problems with the hydralics, but they say it will keep them cleaner.
