Slide outs 2012 vacationer

Hi All. I have a 2012 vacationer for about a month now and have done some traveling. I love everything about the MH except the noise the slide outs make when driving on bouncy roads. I was thinking about putting thin wooden blocks of wood under the ends of the slide outs to reduce movement while traveling. Any other suggestions out there?

Our slides would rattle a lot just going down the road. After I determined it was the rollers on the slide and I could not find a simple way to adjust them, I bought a large rubber doorstop. No more noise.

Did you try the locking bars that came with the coach? We also have a new Vacationer. Our slideout seals keep falling down. It's been back at Camping World twice. Do you have any airflow problems from your bedroom vents? Our curbside vents in the bedroom blow no air at all. All the other vents are fine. Ours is a 30SFS. The tech working on it said he called Monaco Coach and M.C. claimed the vents are dummies. I've since contacted M.C. for verification of that claim.

Our coach did not come w locking bars. We have the 36'. All vents work throughout the coach. What are locking bars? I did not see any reference to them in the manual either. Thanks for the help.

Oh my God, no locking bars, seriously.
The locking bars, are a type of thing you put over top of the slide out roof, once it is ran inside, that extend to put pressure on the slide out to keep the top portion from tipping outward while traveling down the road.
If you've not already, might ought to look any & everywhere in the coach they could be hiding, like under a seat, under the bed or out in a compartment, but there should be some locking bars for that slide out.
Only reason I could think of your coach not having them, would be if theres a different type of extending unit to extend the slide different from the cog type like on ours.

We also bought a 2012 Holiday Rambler Vactioner in March. The large living room slide out does not close completly at the bottom. It has the Lippert Schwintec slide out mechnisim and the dealer says there is no adjustment for it. When the top is all the way against the body and the motor stops there is still about 3/8 to 1/2 inch gap at the bottom. Anyone have any suggestions?
