Slide popping

Well, that may not be an accurate description, but when we try to retract the kitchen slide, it makes loud popping sounds, as if there is something in the way. We've retrieved the odds and ends from the carpet, and I think it may have to do with the slide mechanisms. What to do? 40-ft Berkshire 2012. (Note to self:Update profile.)

What did the dealer have to say as I would assume it is under warranty? What kind of parts are you finding?

Have DW operate the slide, while it is going in check the rubber seal. Mine was popping and I couldn't figure it out. Then one day the DW was watching the slide to help try to figure it out and notiuced that the gasket was rolled oved and popped when the slide was closing and unrolled. I played with the gasket and it no longer popps. Just a thought, worked for me.

Checking it out

Thanks, friends. The debris is from a mug that broke. The handyman who is here thinks it's a leveling problem (jacks). The slide is in now, but won't be going back out until a dealer looks at it. We'll head toward Phoenix and see what we can do.

Thanks

A handyman helped us get the slide back in, and we high-tailed it for Phoenix. Needless to say, that slide isn't coming back out until a FR dealer looks at it.
