I would have the slide checked to make sure it's not sagging or anything. No amount of lubricant is going to fix a mechanical problem.

As stated, No amount of lubricant is going to fix a mechanical problem. But you have to keep things clean and slick to reduce the drag on the gear box and shear pins. Your coach may be different than mine but when we went to a CC rally I checked 4 coaches and the bolts that hold the gear box in place had fallen out or you could turn them by hand. It's all about keeping an eye on things because it will save you $$$$ in the long run.
