Slide problems

I have a 2006 Dutch Star with a slide problem. I have one slide the sometimes will open then it won't open. Yesterday when I got to the campsite the two slides in the front didn't open, the bed room opened but seemed to open more slowly than usual. I checked the fuses, 20 apps, went to a auto store bought two new ones replaced them and then the slide on the passenger side opened. The drivers side did not. This morning the drivers side open up. I didn't do anything overnight it just started to work. This slide on the drivers side has done this before, not worked, then after sitting plugged up it would work the next day. This is the first time the passenger side didn't work. Anyone have any thoughts on this problem. Thanks.

Could it be the power required to open them? Is the one that gives you the most trouble the largest/heaviest slide?

Sounds like a bad or loose connection to me. Trace the wires and you should find it.

Good luck.

Make sure your batteries are good. My 02 Bounder had a slide issue where it would move an inch and then the motor would click almost as if it tripped a relay. Everything else worked fine no signs of low voltage. I pulled the slide motor and had it tested, passed.

Replaced my batteries and it worked fine since. You could have them load tested as well. The fact it worked after being plugged in could mean something.

I'll have the batteries checked. That would make sense the one slide the biggest working after being plugged in at the campsite overnight.
