Slide Topper holding water

On Google I found an old strand about keeping water off slide toppers. We've been having an issue with ponding on our new A.

I tried the solution of draping a rope across after a big storm. Wow, like a wick it evacuated the water.

If you enlarge this picture maybe you can see the water traveling down the rope. Easy to store and I already had the rope!

I'm going to give this a try. After 15 consecutive days of rain on our last trip, I'm ready for any "too much water" solutions! Thanks for posting.
