Slide will not retract

I know I have read numerous threads here and elsewhere on slide problems but when I do a search I get 5,725 threads about everything.

Here is my problem.
I have electric slides on MH.
Bedroom slide comes in/out no problem.

Living room slide, the larger of the two, went out under genny/battery power and now starts to retract and quits after a few seconds. The batteries are fully charges and the genny is running and power air conditioners so I know it is putty out power.

I don't have a land plug to plug into at this location. I tried to manually wrench it in but that was a no go.

I check for binding, trash, or anything getting in the way and it isn't.

The rails are ok and no off track and the motor is working. This slide is one of those that comes in at a slight angle then levels out.

I tried to push it in while my wife hit the in button but didn't do anything.

It just seems like it makes it first attempt at coming in, the angle, and when it is almost on top of the angle part it quits.

Any ideas?

Is there anyone around who can help you? I would suggest that you get about three people pushing on the slide from the outside, have someone engage the slide in, and see if you can get it over the "hump", the angle part. It is possible that your motor is having problems, or there is a voltage drop to the motor, and the effort to get it up the incline is enough to trip a safety to prevent the motor from totally burning out. Worth a shot.

Odds are your slide is powered by the chassis batteries, so try it with the engine running.

Update. I tried to manually role in with a 18" 1/2" drive ratchet. No go. Also just for info my mh manual crank head is 1 1/8".
Anyway got to looking at the inside of the slide and found the white fiberglass slick, a piece that runs all the way across the coach floor for the slide to ride on had bunched up in 2 places. I trimmed them off with a screwdriver and filed them smooth. Now slide come in with no problem on house batteries. Thanks all for your help.
