Slideout

Dose anyone know how to get at the electric motor on a wall slide, we have a winnebago adventurer 2014. The motor on the kitchen dinnet slideout is not getting power. We can not tell how to remove the rubber sweeps on the sides with out dammaging them. How do we get at the motor to check the wiring.

He sure makes that look easy. I would be afraid to remove the painted strip for fear of messing it up.

Are there any sealers, or tools needed when putting it back together.

Ok I just did this today on my unit except I had to get at the lower track instead of the motor. It is just as easy as he says. On the upper end of the piece that comes off they have a little silicone to keep water from getting in there. They also had some silicone on each screw head. The track snaps in place. I used a wooden handle to pop the seal over. What he used his hand for in the video. Putting the seal back took just a little patience to line the screw holes back up again. Don't forget the little screw that he talks about to remove first. It is hidden in the fold of the rubber seal.

Forgot to add that the flush screws (inside row) looked like they had blue loctite on the threads while the outside row pan heads had the dab of silicone on them.
