Slide Issue
Good day, I have a 2000 Newmar Dutch Star, it has 2 slides, I started putting the slide out b4 I realized it was still locked! It stopped functioning, I got the slide unlocked and it went out a couple of inches. Now the switch does nothing on either slide. Thanks in advance

Check your fuses or breakers. If you overloaded the motor when trying to extend, you probably blew a fuse.

Welcome to irv2, Ron
This link will give you
slide information and you may have blown a fuse for your slides.
If slide in now crooked in its opening you will need to release the torque bushings and with help push slide in than re tighten the bushings.

First, Welcome to the group. Extra knowledge is always handy.
If both locks were in place and the slide didn't move the problem could be the motor or the Transtorque Bushing which in my case is located near the motor. Open the storage bays below the slide to check. If you need a part I've found Newmar to be very helpful even if you did not purchase the rig new.
If the slide is out of alignment the Transtorque Bushing needs to be released which allows the drive rods to be adjusted independently. The Transtorque Bushing will then need to be tightened.
Been there Done that. Good Luck!!

You changed your name from yesterday when I answered your same question.
Here is information you need.
You need to go to the second or third page your question will move fast on this busy forum not so much on other forums.
