I HAVE A 07 SEA BREEZE,WHICH I LIKE VERY MUCH.IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN SLOW TO TAKE THE FUEL WHEN FILLING UP,VERY,VERY SLOW.HAS ANYONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH NATIONAL RV?

Ray, check the vent hose that is attached to the filler neck of the tank. Make sure it is not kinked, and that no part of it hangs below the filler neck. This hose must be clear and unobstructed, a low hanging vent hose can allow fuel to accumulate in that low spot and prevent air from escaping. If the air cannot escape from the tank via this vent hose the tank will fill very slowly. Its certainly worth a check. Also while your under there checking the vent, check and make sure the flexible portion (rubber hose) portion of the filler neck is not collapsed or kinked.

One of the problems with many RV's is the location of the fuel filler and fuel tank.

The tank is between the rails, About a foot below the filler in many cases.

The filer pipe is quite long.

The result is there is not enough SLOPE to the filler tube to move the fuel into the tank quickly enough.

NOW: if the vent line is not clogged (Which will make a bad situtation much worse) try this.. Drop the pump-side jacks, On my coach it works best if I drop the pump side REAR jack.

It also helps if I scope out the pump islands.. The above is used if the site is level.

IF, however, I find an island where the spot I park to fill slops away from the pump, and even better down (toward the front) and away... I pick that pump.

Since just now I tend to have only a few places I fuel... I have learned the best pumps for a quick fill.

Another maybe help is If the tank has fillers on both sides of the coach remove the cap on the other side. That is what I do with mine.

i don't know why it works but it was suggested to me to turn the fuel nozzle upside down. it seems to help quite a bit

Same here. Another problem which you can't do much about is that diesel fuel foams which causes it to spurt out the filler neck. I have a friend that gets 40 more gallons in his tank by dribbling in those last gallons.
