They aren't being made anymore, but it's hard not to be impressed by Country Coach. Winnebago now owns the intellectual property and the manufacturing facilities and from what I read about the deal (completed about 1 1/2 years ago...I think) is that Winnebago committed to bringing them back...not as a Winnebago, but as Country Coach. Hope it happens.

Tiffin
Winnebago
Looked at a 45' Entegra at an RV show this year. I didn't study the structural build of the unit, which I'd have to do before putting in on a top list, but from what I saw, I was pretty impressed.

I want to throw this out though....I don't like the "Euro" or "Yacht" look going into a lot of the higher class motorhomes now. I guess I still like beautiful natural rich wood work, vs a bunch of smooth "formica-looking" finishes and white all over. But that's just me. To each his own.

There are really several tiers of Motorhomes. At the top you have the Newells, Foretravels, and Prevost conversions. These are million dollar coaches and up. I looked at the Foretravel and they are a beautiful and impressive coach.

Next you have the mid-level luxury coaches. Here you would have the Entegra, Newman, Tiffin, and American group. I would put Winnebago in this same group but at the end of it. Then you go to the more entry level coaches with Forest River, Thor, and Coachmen in that order.

It all depends on what you like and what you have to spend.

I Really like Entegra's, but I've heard too many complaints about it's parent company THOR. So I stay away. As for looks, Yeah, I don't like the Ceaser's Palace look in Motorhomes, over the top in my opinion resulting in Guady, it's not for me. But to each his/her own.
