Soooo tired of swirly paint schemes...

Is this all they can come up with? Swirl after swirl after swirly swirly swirl...ad nauseum.

How about some Deco themes, or SOMETHING creative and different!!

I guess the lack of creativity in paint shemes or themes is too risky for sales.

Swirls....ughhhhh!!

I know! Aren't these decals and paint jobs ugly? It's not enough you're driving a barn down the road, it has to have garish designs all over it too! Look at me!!! I'm bigger than you are!!

I like the all black Fleetwood in Meet The Fockers. I also like the line "Jack calls this the delight of out twilight".

We are land-based Dazzle Ships like WWI.

I go off road and to museums and arboretums and historic sites, etc.
I dont look at my rig as much as others look at theirs because I am too busy.

You can be busy, let the issue go, have it re-painted, or just sit back and enjoy the campfire.

You could always opt for basic white.

Man, I sure like the blue rigs. Don't see any nowadays. Would LOVE to have an auqua beach themed rig with palms, waves, tiki huts....you get the idea. Nothing outlandish, but a well thought out theme, at least in the colors.

Porthole accent windows....

For the right price, you can have any design you want.

I don't think they come up with these paint schemes just on a whim. It's all about market research, either your own or simply seeing what your competitors are selling the most of and rarely will you see drastic innovative designs stock off the shelf. Changes are usually subtle and develop over time because that what sells. Custom coaches have different designs because there customers are willing to pay for a custom designed paint scheme. We could all have ours custom painted of we wanted.
As a manufacturer I can either paint it similar to the majority and have it sell quickly or do something unique and have it sit there waiting for just the right person.
If the majority of people wanted purple with pink polka dots or zebra stripes, that's what you would be seeing on the road. Right now it's swirls, in a few years it will probably morph into something else.

Just a thought, but maybe it's because any radical design would leave edges that would subject them to peeling off easier. Again, just a thought.

Yes, it will probably morph from swirls to swishes...

The reason and the solutions have been amply expressed here. Soon enough someone will write that they like the swirls.

It is marketing pure and simple. You cannot please everyone but aiming at the center of the market is what sells. Change will come when enough people say at the dealers, I don't like swirls, you got anything else?

It can be changed by anyone wanting to invest in a new paint job or decals.

In both cases money talks.
