Ok, I have one of those, a '02 year.
The Source Engineering equipment is a wax valve. The engine gets hot, melts the wax and the fan comes on. On this system, there is only one input and that is the coolant temperature. On the Sauer Danfoss unit, there are three inputs. You have the coolant, intake temperature, and then the one on the high side of the air conditioner line. Any one of those inputs will cause an adjustment in the fan operation. I feel that the intake temp is very important and this isn't measured by the Source. The engine can go over temp way before the coolant sees it.
In the installation of the Source, you will need to do some welding to install the flange for the valve.
For me, I'll stick with the Sauer Danfoss. You can find decent pricing from Fluid Bernstein. Order by the part number and it comes already programmed for your application. Some Cummins Coach Care facilities claim that it needs programmed but this is not so. This info cane from a Sauer Danfoss engineer.
