karrs, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy this website.
Do you have any blank switch spaces in the dash area? If so and you are electrically minded somewhat you can add a switch and run a feed from a fused 12 volt supply from the ignition side of the chassis electrical to the headlight and rear running lights.
The switch and wire gage need to be sufficient to handle the amperage of the load. or you will need to install a relay to control the circuit. If you are not comfortable with electrical issues you should consider having a qualified person do it for you.
Keep us posted and enjoy the website and forums.

Check your lights, I have a 2007 Crosscountry, I think you have running lights, they come own when you shift from nutural to forward. Let me know if this is not correct.

DirecTV (dunn'o about Dish) is iffy above the 50th parallel. We barely got signal anywhere north of, say, Calgary.

Be sure you externally vent the dryer.

We had Kingdome installed on our MH, works great if you don't have a trees in the way which is the case half the time. I carry a portable dish and tripod. Our kingdome was installed by Camping World, they insisted on installing a seperated power supply, which overheated and tripped off. They tried 3 power supplies before it was tied into the MH 12 volt system. We have used both Dishnetwork and Direct TV, Direct TV seems to work better with Kingdome.
Your motorhome should be prewired for a dome, check the switch in the overhead compartment on the passenger side, you should have a wire tied into the Sat. in connection on the switch.
Don't have washer/drier.
