Spotlight

I need a spotlight for a 2006 qsh Phaeton. Tiffin does not make anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

Me too, my OEM floodlight on our MH rusted out internally. I've been looking at these three for several months trying to decide between LED and Xenon, and this one.
They all have a magnetic base(useless for an RV) with the option of using screws for a permanent mount.

I've been comparing Amazon remote-control spot lights against West Marine, the price difference for very similar lights is amazing. I do realize the consumer does get what they pay for though.

I would look at marine spotlights and try to match it up. Better stainless quality and would last longer.

It's a bit off subject ... but when do you use a spot light on a motor home? On a "Troop Car" they were invaluable but I can't see any use for one on our RV

Some people like to use them when pulling into a site at night.

I will add that i would go led if you can. The heat from those things can do some harm if the are folded in too quick. LED do not get so hot.

Nor do they have the projection range.

Skip the spot light, install a LED light bar to the wiring, cheaper and more dependable.

I think it depends on what you get...the police and my fire Department have both and we like the led better

Can you aim a light bar different than the rv?

If it is up on top, you can..... most folks use the spot light for searching for address to the side of the vehicle. you can install 2 LED units on each side just for this purpose, controlled by the old spot light switch.
