Sprung front door

I have a Mandalay Presidio coach. After a weekend of tailgating and the front door being slammed continuously, the door seems sprung. It is very hard to close and getting worse. Anyone had this problem? Is there an easy fix?

I've never heard of that problem! I wonder if it's something specific to that model? Maybe one of the Moderators will move you post to the Thor Owner's forum for better results.

Been Rv'ing since 1957 and have never seen this anywhere.

Did someone open it too far backwards? Or can that even be done ? One of your tailgating buddies playing Tarzan & swinging on it ??

why is it hard to close? Not lining up with the latch hard to latch, Hinge is hard to swing?

My experience has been that the doors are quite strong and most problems can be traced to movement of the small post in the door sill, to which the door latch hooks. It slides inward a millimeter or two and becomes very hard to latch. A relatively simple adjustment will generally fix it, but that sometimes takes a bit of trial and error to get the post located right. Generally the outer end of the post is a hex so you can use a wrench to loosen and tighten it, and it moves about when loosened.

We had one do that. The frame on the door was 2x2 wood frame with long shafts running top to bottom with little washers and nuts that held it all together. I removed the door, removed the surround trim, removed the inner and outer skin to expose the framing. The space inside the frame was filled with board foam and the wood frame was in great shape.

I simply tightened the rods then used long countersunk screws to firm up the corners. Re-glued the outer and inner skins and the door is now rock solid.

Have someone hold the bottom of the door and push in on the top (while it is open) if you get a lot of twist...the frame is loose.
