Stain on outside refrigerator cover

The other day I noticed a brown stain on the outside refrigerator cover. I thought it was coming from the roof after it rained. I cleaned it off and didn't think too much more about it. The other day it was back again. I looked inside the refrigerator opening and all seemed dry, no liquid and definitely no smell. The roof area around the vent looks good too. The coach is in for state inspection and they are going to check it out. Any suggestions? It's a dometic refer in a 2006 Tiffin Open Road. Thanks

Welcome to iRV2.

Question .
Had the fridge been running ?
If so good possibility that the stain, is from dust accumulating in the drips from the drain pan, hose, during the defrost cycle, the water evaporates and leaves the stain. ( mine does this ) Next time I notice it I'll post a picture.

This happened after fridge was turned of. Makes sense about the dust. It is dusty inside there. The tech did check the roof vent and everything seemed ok. Thanks for the info, I did not think of that.
