starting problem

WE have a 2003 fleetwood revolution. Batteries are fully charged and new.
Coach will not start. Short across the starter and it starts. Any suggestions.

Most diesels have a solonoid in the engine compartment that the start portion of the switch activates. Find this solonoid and test the small wire on it to see if it gets the signal from the switch to start. If it is not getting power, you have a ignition switch problem. If it is getting power, you have a solonoid problem.

I talked to one of my techs for you. He thought the same thing as I. Sounds like the solenoid to the starter isnt transfering signal to the starter. There is another selonoid associated with power to the starter as well. Start there and let me know if you have more questions. I will see what I can do for you.
