Steer safe Toughts!

I'm Thinking I might breakdown and install Steer Safe on my W22 Workhorse, yay or nay? Thoughts and reviews welcome.

Thanks

We went with a Safe T Plus unit. Found the company very helpful with my questions and concerns. Some say a good alignment and tires are all you need. Had all that checked and found all good. Now consider I live in Indiana (for now) and our roads are to be considered If not the travel ruts in the road, potholes, semi's passing, windy conditions, narrow roads and lots of curves I found myself wore out after a short drive I find it a great addition.

Steer Safe won't steer you wrong

Picked up our 1st ever MH, drove it 250 miles to bradenton, Fl. Then a buddy & I installed the Steer Safe Stabilizer. Am at this moment in Ky and the handling is much improved. 37' 2016 Thor Windsport followed by a 4 down 2013 CR-V. All driving has been on I-75 w/lots of trucks passing and no problem. Hope this helps. Ron & my GW Claudia. Will return to Bradenton end of OCT, Lord willing.

I installed a Steer Safe on my W 22 several years ago, the handling improved a great deal with a good solid road feel and very little movement from the trucks passing by. I can actually steer with one hand, but I use both.

I have installed steer safe on 4 of the 6 motor homes that I have owned. The last one I had installed at the factory while traveling through Deming NM. Had new Bilsteins installed at the same time. Installation was free for the steersafe. You could do it yourself in about 45 min to a hour with simple hand tools. Family owned business. Very nice people to deal with.

I installed SteerSafe stabilizers right after buying the Windsor in 2012, not for any handling problems but for added safety in case of a front tire blowout!

I have the Safe-T-Plus installed on my Class A. Might want to take a look at my recent post to get an idea on my feelings about steering stabilizers.

Steer Safe worked for me. On a 2003 MountainAire, had it installed by Mike in Deming, NM. Actually enjoyed the ride home this past spring. Cut my correcting to a minimum.

What did Mike charge for labor to install them?

Installed one on 02' Ford F53. Improved steering and handling. Liked the improved safety factor in case of tire failure.
