Adjustable in what way? Centering the steering wheel? Firm vs light steering (friction)? Or something else?

You adjust steering box's to remove the play in the wheel while traveling straight ahead.
I don't know if yours is, but that's what adjusting it means.

Notes about it (at the link) say it is not adjustable. However, it doesn't say who makes it (TRW, Sheppard, etc.) to research that further.

I have had many vehicles with loose steering as well as semi tucks. I have always adjusted the steering box to take the play out of them. You do have to be careful not to over tighten the adjuster. Sometimes a 1/16" tweak is all they need.
I loosen the big nut around the adjusting screw, turn adjusting screw till it is snug and then back it off just a pinch. Then road test and tweak until it steers like I want it to.

As mentioned, it is very easy to to overtighten and damage it. The only way to adjust it accurately is to disconnect the box from the steering assembly. You don't need to remove it from the frame, but it must be disconnected, otherwise it is impossible to sense if it is too tight or not.

Very good idea to hold the adjusting screw in place while tightening the lock nut or it may be tighter than you want

I've adjusted a lot of steering boxes myself. I would like to caution that you be sure that the box is the problem.
"Loose" steering is more often the result of improper setting of front end alignment. Caster setting has a lot to do with the play in the steering wheel. There are no adjustments for caster on the workhorse chassis but it can be set with wedges. Find a shop that has the equipment to do alignment on add wedges if necessary to adjust the caster. I would want mine at about 6 Degrees positive caster.

When I adjusted these, if you can get into position to have one hand holding on the steering arm with your hand right up against the steering box, you can detect the slightest movement. The other hand then can rotate the steering shaft right & left to see how much it can move without any movement in the steering arm.
As said above, a very small adjustment is all that's needed. You're not tightening the gears by screwing the adjustment screw in, you're tightening the gears by where the adjustment screw is in it's 360* rotation.
