Steering stabilizer

Is there a decent steering stabilizer for the F53 chassisi? I had one with a shock absorber many years ago on a Workhorse chassis which worked well, particularly when I blew a front tire and sufferered no extreme behavior.

Depends on your definition of decent. I'm waiting on PB B'laster to do it's thing so I can install a Roadmaster stabilizer hardware. The stabilizer assembly weights 20 pounds or so and the mounting hardware is cut from 3/8" steel so I guess you could consider that decent.

I put a Bilstein (shock style) on my F53 and it made a big difference.

steer safe

I went with steer safe as it doesn't put stress on steering parts.

I went with Blue Ox True Centre Steering system , good system that can be adjusted while driving, helps with uneven roads and wind, as well the added safety in case of front tire blowout...!

Both Safe-T-Plus and Roadmaster Reflex are combination shock absorber/centering spring. The Safe-T-Plus rod & spring is enclosed in a telescoping tube where Roadmaster has exposed rod & spring, not making any judgement as which is better just noting visual difference.

I have Safe-T-Plus on my Winnebago Adventurer 33V. Extremely smooth steering. I’m also a fanatic for perfect tire pressure.

Had the Roadmaster on my prior F53 and now have the Safe t Plus on the current rig. Like them both and they both made an improvement in the drive.
