Still looking, Darn it!

I thought I found a coach. 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire. Within budget and within NADA specs. Listed on RV trader. Listed as private party sale. I responded via RV traders email response, asking questions about leaks, service records, tire DOT dates etc... the preliminaries.. and got a message back from a woman named Gail who said she was actually a dealer and would like me to call her to discuss the coach. My response was "Thank you Gail for your response but I prefer our initial contact and information to be via Email." Her response was. "You need to call me." I responded back "I'm sorry but if you cannot provide these basic facts about the coach in the manner I would like them, I'll take my business elsewhere." Her response was "OK, do as you like." The listing was from Apopka, FL.

OK, I'll do as I like and take my business elsewhere!

I appreciate the offer but I dont even know what dealer. I have no trouble flying cross country to look at a coach but not when someone outright lies in the ad saying they are a private party, and then wont email info, my gut instinct is to walk away!

Good gut instinct, Games are for children. Simple questions deserved simple answers.

Always go by your gut feeling. Take your time looking, it'll pay off. Good luck. So many scammers out there be cautious.

As a seller or buyer, for me, its a lot easier and faster to answer some questions on a phone than it is to type, type, type.

Things like VIN numbers and basic information are easier to do via e-mail. Obviously contractual stuff should be via e-mail.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Sounds like a scam. People please be aware. There are scammers out there. If it sounds too good to be true or just a little off like this one does, it's more than likely a scam.

Quality Motorcoach and Marine is located in Apopka but that does not sound like their way of doing business.
