And probably every time you run the vacuum later on you will smell the stink bugs.

Correct. I empty to canister and clean the filter every two months or so. It's just the air getting exhausting and taking the SB smell with it.

There is nothing that will continue to kill them on contact after the first application. However, I have used RAID FUMIGATOR with great success. I normally set off one canister in the motorhome in the late fall when I put it in storage, and the stink bugs are looking for a place to hibernate, and again in late winter/early spring when they are starting to come out of hibernation. RAID FUMIGATOR contains 12.6% Permethrin which is the only pesticide certified for home use that is effective on these Asian Stink Bugs. When used as directed it kills everyone of them in the motorhome. Just have to go around and vacuum them up.

We visited the Smokies last April and we still find one bug every once in a while. We use our cordless Dyson to suck them up and dispose of them. I can't believe we are still seeing them.

We were introduced to the little buggers last September, at the IRV2 rally in Sevierville TN. I still find one every once in a while. I just pick them up with a small amount of toilet tissue and flush them.

My "boss" just informed me that if you put a lavender plant in the house it will keep the bugs away...
