The DW has been smelling odors for a couple days. We have not used the W/D for several months and sure enough, I too stuck my sniffer in there and GAG!!!!!!!!!!!! I did a load of laundry and the odors were gone. Wish I had read this earlier in the day but I did read it after the fact. Great advice!!!

What does a vacuum break look like? I never knew they existed but I might have a problem some time in the future.

There is a vac breaker on the black tank flush line. It holds water and freezes in winter. Always blow out the line when winterizing.
