Storage Doors are too close to each other

I have an 2005 georgetown XL. My outside baggage doors rub making it difficult to open. How do I adjust them so that they can open and shut with rubbing on each other and getting hung up?

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry I can't help with your question.
But maybe a moderator will move your question to the Owners forums where it will get more views from Georgetown Owners.

My doors lift up and and rely on a 2 piece hinge system made of aluminum extrusion. One track that is mounted to the side of the motorhome. At the top of each door is a piece of aluminium excursion with rounded portion that fits into the stationary track.

The doors can be removed, starting from one end or the other, by removing a small rivet in the stationary track that holds all the doors in place. Then releasing the lift struts, and sliding the door out.

The only thing that keeps the doors separated is the way they cut the top. The cut the piece slightly longer then the width of the door so that each door is separated.

If yours is constructed the same way you could opt to try and put a small spacer in between the doors to hold them apart. You might drilling a small hole and installing a screw that would hold the doors apart but it would have to be installed so it doesn't interfere with the door closing.
