Storage Question

I plan to take my class A to Myrtle Beach for a couple of weeks and plan to store it there for 3 months. The last time I did this I began receiving tax bills from Horry County. Some sort of personal tax? I didn’t pay it. Is anyone aware if there have been any changes to this practice? Do all states charge this tax? We don’t have this tax in Canada.
Thanks.

It's possible that you triggered their residency laws so they charged you taxes as a resident. Not really enough details to know for sure.

I have owned rental property in Myrtle Beach for years. Every year I receive a form I have to fill out for the value of the contents in the unit that I own like the stove, washer dryer, refrigerator, etc. At the end of the year I receive a tax bill for that amount. I Thought it only referred to income producing properties.
