Streaks running down coach.

I have a 2005 Monaco Diplomata and was getting tired of the white streaks running down the side, I got a bright idea and got 3/4/x 3/4 x 1/16 clear plastic angle and used white mastic to attach it to the roof, I ran it on both sides of the roof just before the radios of the roof,(See attached) it has been three weeks and no sign of a streak.

smart! does the water run off the end easily? Surely you wouldn't want it to build up on the roof.

You maybe right but if it dose last two years and I have to replace it that's fine, better than cleaning the sides every day.

No More White Streaks Down the Sides of the Coach

I permanently solved the white streak issue a few years ago.

See my thread on how I did it and the results.

Are the streaks caused by the EPDM roof membrane decaying from UV. My roof membrane was dryish and I could run my hands across it and pick up a white dusty powder.

I just recoated my Mirada roof a few weeks ago, no more white dust.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

He should have a one (or two) piece fiberglass covered roof. What's on mine is a full one piece fiberglass covered roof. The white streaks are from the oxidization of the unpainted fiberglass.

Some people wash the roof and put a coating of wax on the fiberglass which cuts down on the streaking until the sun fades it away. Then it needs to be done again.

I am not into maintaining my roof constantly so I went for the full Tuff-Coating and now all that I need to maintain is the sealant around the devices on the roof.
