Never owned a pusher but if you have enough heat to soften plastic light fixtures and vents you need to have that cheched by either the coach mfg or chassis mfg.



If it were me, I would do it before I put my family back in the coach.

Open skylight type vents will cause a serious low pressure to develop inside the motorhome due the 60-70 MPH winds blowing across them while driving down the road. Read about it here

That low pressure in the motorhome will suck air in from the outside thru any opening available. That outside air infiltration will heat up the interior. I can see how you could introduce a stream of very hot air from the engine compartment with a high enough temperature to melt some plastic components. I always make sure all vents are closed while driving and especially while trying to cool the interior.

Not sure on that model but if your engine exhaust exits from the roof check the enclosure - this has caused a fire in the past.
